Kazune is a strategist at HAKUHODO Brand & Innovation Design. Kazune employs ethnographic researches, the method of future foresight, and UX perspectives to design new business possibilities and build branded experiences. Kazune also leads the collaboration with RCA-IIS Tokyo Design Lab, a joint design project by The University of Tokyo Institute of Industrial Science and Technology and Royal College of Art.
Prior to the current position, Kazune was in charge of global branding and marketing, including global brand launches, and building market entry strategies into Asian countries.
Before joining HAKUHODO, Kazune used to provide an innovation education program in Tohoku area, as one of the founding members of i.club, which stands for “innovation club.”
His academic background includes social relations (B.A. of the University of Tokyo), innovation design (i.school of UT), and information sciences (The University of Tokyo Interfaculty Initiative in Information Studies).
A Kyoto native, living in Tokyo.
