Born and raised in Tokyo, Japan, Yukie graduated from UCLA and joined an educational NPO in New York for 3 years. She returned to Japan when the internet was getting commercialized and she found a career in marketing when she joined Microsoft where she worked for 16 years. She joined Amazon Advertising in 2013 and has held positions in marketing, product management and now sales training.
Yukie lives in Shingawa with her husband and two daughters ages 17 and 13. She is active in the community holding various board and committee positions. She is also the general manager of the Kinball Sports team "ITO KC."
