In 2014, Komaki was appointed as an adviser at Sanrio Entertainment, where she was involved in Sanrio’s theme park operations. In 2015, she took on the role of director at Sanrio Entertainment before being appointed director of Sanrio Puroland in 2016. In June 2019, she was appointed president and CEO of Sanrio Entertainment.
